The last dose, printed
Enter the medicine and the number of days, and the chart shows the exact date and hour of the final dose. There is no arithmetic to do and no ambiguity about whether today was day four or day five. Every dose has a tick box, so a half-empty row tells you immediately that something was missed.
Buy the right quantity
The pocket card works out how many tablets or how many millilitres the full course needs. Under-buying is one of the most common reasons a course is abandoned mid-way — the strip runs out on day four of a five-day course and nobody goes back to the pharmacy. Show the card at the counter and buy the whole course at once.
Stomach protection and food timing
Antibiotics are often prescribed alongside a stomach medicine, and the two frequently have opposite food instructions — one before food, one after. Both instructions print inside their own dose boxes, so there is nothing to remember and nothing to look up.
Why finishing matters
Stopping early leaves the hardest-to-kill bacteria behind, which is how resistant infections develop and why the next course may not work. Take the full course exactly as prescribed, and if side effects make that difficult, speak to the prescriber rather than stopping on your own.
How to make one
- Add the antibiotic and the number of days
- Check the last dose date on the chart
- Print the tick sheet and mark each dose
Questions
What if I miss a dose?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist. Do not double up to catch up unless you have been told to.
Can I track two antibiotics at once?
Yes. Add both and they appear side by side at the hours each is due.
Does it send reminders?
No. It is a printable chart, not a notification app — it works when the phone is flat or in another room.
A note on safety. PillsChart reproduces the schedule you type. It does not check doses or interactions. Always follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist, and check the printed chart against the prescription before anyone relies on it.

Ready to make your chart?
It takes about two minutes and prints on one page. Nothing you type leaves your device.
