What we collect
Nothing. PillsChart has no server, no database and no user accounts. Every name, medicine and date you type stays inside your own browser.
Where your data is stored
In your browser's local storage on the device you are using, so your chart is still there when you come back. Clearing your browser data, or pressing “Clear all” in the app, removes it permanently. We cannot see it and cannot recover it.
Health information
Because nothing is transmitted, no patient-identifiable health information is processed by us at any point. This is why the tool can be used on hospital machines without a data-processing agreement.
Cookies and analytics
The application itself sets no cookies and loads no third-party trackers or fonts. If analytics are ever added to the marketing pages, this policy will be updated first and will name the provider.
Backup files
The “Save backup” button writes a JSON file to your own device. Where that file goes afterwards is entirely under your control. Treat it as you would any other document containing patient details.
How to verify this
Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the app normally. You will see no outbound requests carrying your data. We encourage you to check rather than take our word for it.
